Hope for anyone over 30 who thinks they are past it when it comes to making hit records, battling disability or Jobless .If Ian Dury can make it ...so can you .Those of you of a certain age will remember musing on the phrase -Hit me with your Rhythm Stick or Shovel Mick as we'd say in Ireland.

Ian Dury was a unique fusion of Poet, Theatrical Actor and Pop star .Emerging from the punk era ,he established his brand of Gravel voiced soundscape with songs like -Clever Trevor and Reasons to be cheerful part 111.

Do you like pop music, do you like stories of those overcoming the odds the world and his oul stacks against them..Do you like Bad Haircuts and gritty Sex scenes.. well queue up,cos you'll find more than 3 Reasons to be Cheerful.

Ps .The guy playing Ian is Luke Evans appears to me to be Ian Dury reincarnated ...He is that good folks.
